Evangelist Missionary Lynette Johnson

Evangelist Missionary Lynette Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan. She is the youngest of five children born to her parents Richard and Johnnie Mae Morant.

She attended schools in the Michigan Independent School District and graduated from Mckenzie High School; she continued her education through Alpena Community College.

Missionary Johnson was saved over 34 years ago under her Spiritual Father Bishop F.E. Johnson, Denver Colorado. She received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost on the night that her mother passed.

God spoke to Missionary Johnson in 1978 and told her if she would give up her career and seek Him, He would bless her. She obeyed and God has continued to bestowed favor over her life.

She is an anointed woman of God that gives herself to prayer and fasting.

Missionary Johnson has been married for over fourty years to Superintendent Joseph Johnson; they have been blessed with eight children and ten grandchildren.

They spent 24 years in the United States Air Force; which provided her the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and several countries. Her travels have taken her to the Philippines, Korea, Guam, Hawaii, Okinawa, Alaska, Japan, and Turkey.

She loves to work and has served in several capacities in the church. Missionary Johnson has served as Purity Lady, YWCC President, Sunday School Teacher, Choir President & Directress, Evangelism President, District Hospitality President, District Missionary President, and various youth out-reach ministries.

Missionary Johnson relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 1995 and become a member of the Anderson Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Superintendent Geoffrey Stirrup. She has been a member of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of God in Christ for the past eleven years where her husband, Superintendent Joseph Johnson, is her pastor.

Missionary Johnson stays quite busy, but in her leisure time she enjoys writing, arts and crafts, walking, and spending time with her family.
